A 40 minute performance presented at Artissima, 2014 as part of their Per4m program. The performance portrays an individual thoroughly convinced of his goals, whether they be whitening his teeth, looking for a new house with a garden and a view, leading a weekend spiritual development workshop, or bringing knowledge to other cultures. This hubris is simultaneously undermined by this main character’s exaggerations and by the moments of weakness that he reveals, for example his sense of anger and confusion when his accountant committed suicide, and his sense loss when he loses “the perfect job”.
